How it works
We come into your business — not over the top of it.
No eighteen-month transformation program, no army of consultants. A process built for how small business actually works: fast, personal, and priced before anything gets built.
Quick questionnaire
What you do
You fill out a detailed questionnaire about how the business runs — team, tools, where the time goes.
What Skiply does
We study it before setting foot in the door, so the immersion day counts from the first hour.
Immersion
What you do
You go about a normal day or two — no presentations, no prep. Just run the business.
What Skiply does
We come into your business for a day or two (depending on complexity) and get into how it actually runs: the processes, the current tech, what needs to talk to what, where things leak.
Workshop
What you do
You bring what you know — and nobody knows your business like you do.
What Skiply does
We shape ideas together while we're there. We bring what AI can actually do; the good solutions come from putting both in the same room.
Proposal
What you do
You go back to running the business while the thinking happens.
What Skiply does
We take it away and come back with a menu of proposed solutions — what each one does, and what it's worth to you in time and money.
Decide together
What you do
You tell us what makes sense for the business and the budget — no pressure, no bundling.
What Skiply does
We pick what to build now, what can wait, and what should be phased. The menu is yours to order from, not a set banquet.
Fixed quote
What you do
You get a detailed, fixed quote to consider in your own time.
What Skiply does
Itemised and locked — what's being built, what it costs, when it's live. No surprises is the whole point of the process.
Build & deploy
What you do
You keep running the business; we check in where your input matters — like approving what an agent will say.
What Skiply does
Most basic solutions are live within 14 days of quote acceptance. Complex builds take longer or get phased — you'll know the timeline before you commit a dollar.
Common questions
How long does the whole process take?
From questionnaire to proposal is typically a week or two, depending on diary alignment for the immersion. After you accept a quote, most basic builds are live within 14 days. More complex or phased builds run longer — with the timeline agreed in the quote, not discovered after it.
What does the immersion cost?
The discovery call is free. The immersion and proposal stage is a paid engagement — scoped and priced upfront on the discovery call, sized to your business. It's real consulting work that produces a real deliverable: a menu of solutions with honest value estimates, which is yours to keep regardless of what happens next.
What if I don't proceed after the proposal?
Then you've bought a clear-eyed map of where AI fits your business (and where it doesn't), and we part as friends. The proposal is yours — there's no obligation to build, no lock-in, and no awkward sales pressure. Some owners file it and come back a year later; that's fine too.
Do I need technical staff for any of this?
No. The process is designed for businesses without an IT department — that's most of the point. If you choose the self-hosted model you'll need some technical capability (yours or outsourced) to own the infrastructure, but the Skiply-hosted model needs nothing technical from you at all.
What happens after deployment?
It doesn't end at go-live. Skiply monitors the solution, fixes what breaks, and keeps improving it as your business changes — under the hosting or management retainer agreed in your quote. You'll also get a straight read on what the data shows: what it's catching, what it's saving, and what's worth building next.
Fourteen days from yes to live.
For most basic builds, that's the whole wait. Start with the free discovery call and see what's possible.
